Coming next will be probably the overlord. We also have some works on our Vanguard and Zergling, but we don't want to present them until they're more ahead.

Wow, that actually looks pretty good.

Good displacement maps, however texture wise, the inner portion of the claws seem stretched compared to the outer potion, and there's not much "mending" between the outer-upper shell and those bumps on it, doesn't quite fit.

Sadly Lavarinth, the UV arrangement for the claw was the best I could get, due to the texture jpg being so small. We would need a master PS guy to make a bigger texture and then arrange the UVs correctly.
Also, in the worst of cases, we could just remove the back spikes

No, no, the spikes are nice, just that they "pop" and don't feel connected to the shell.

Yeah, they look sort've like leeches, rather than natural chitinous protrusions. Still, other than that, and the mentioned issue with the claws, that is a damn fine Ultralisk.
Also, is it just me, or, looking at it this way, do Ultralisks really remind you of Duriel?

We used the manual render Ultralisk as reference so yeah, odds are the official concept is very close to Duriel.
Lava, with these guys running around with motion blur and stuff, those details will not be noticed
