Mesk, that "Ok", was acknowledging that people are still even bothering to discuss it. Thought I'm sure you already knew that. Anyways, as far as I'm concerned it's a moot discussion point now and some solution, like offering the option via a setting, will avail itself in due time. Though it's worth noting the humour behind the devastating impact avatar placement has had on some people here.

We're all permitted our own opinions, and some of us have even bothered to formulate one with a rationale behind it.

As for the hot linking bit, part of it was a joke with someone, but alas if it bothers you so I'll remove them.

It just seems unnecessary. Whether it's left or right is mainly arbitrary, no? But far more people prefer it on the left, so there doesn't seem to be a reason to cling so firmly to having it on the right. What purpose does it serve? It's just counter-intuitive, like having the title of an essay on the last page instead of the front.

Why? Cause otherwise Lavvz needs to go into the template and change it on several parts. And he is a very busy and lazy man with hands that hurt so.

Anyhow I've changed it around before if you need help Lavvz.

When I'm on the main site, I'm pretty indifferent about which side the avatars are on. However, for my blackberry, the avatars being on the left results in them coming "below" the posts, which is significantly more annoying.

Another thing with my blackberry, is that it will tend to show two "quick reply" boxes instead of one. I have no idea what's up with that.

Don't use a phone for something a phone is not intended for?

And no don't give me that whole OMG IPAD AND IPHONE CAN DO ANYTHING because they're just goddamn phones and no one should be rebuilding websites to cater to those pos'.
