Woah.

Laconius, no matter if you are innocent or mafia, you are one hell of a player.  That was amazing.

EDIT: You'd better be playing again, assuming you are telling the truth now.  I have no clue anymore.

lol I couldn't have tried to whack myself.

Also, Dream, IF Laconius had been telling the truth, then the correct play there would have been to wait to see who he voted for, and then to vote for the other person.  That way no one would be lynched (I think) and then you could have lynched Laconius tomorrow, since he would only get to whack one person tonight.

But as it is, I was the real ghost and AA7 was the real infiltrator, and that should be:

1 - Krazy
1 - Laconius
2 - AA7

GG.

edit: I only just now read that I actually could try to whack myself, but honestly that would be such a hugely risky play... but totally awesome if you pulled it off.

Conclusion of this game:  I am really gullible and I would be a terrible mafia player.

I believe if the lynch votes result in a tie between two people, both people are lynched.  If it's more than two, nobody dies.

Hence, if Black somehow got the urge to vote to lynch you, Krazy, I would have simply voted to lynch AA7.  You would have died, but the innocents would have won nonetheless.  I'm glad it didn't have to come to that though.  Black is more reliable than I thought.  *thumbs up*

Oh snap, I need to read the rules more closely.  I need to reread Laconius's most recent BS post too, because there was some artistry in that.

Laconius is correct: a two-way tie results in a double lynch, a three-way tie (or higher) results in no lynch.

Two security guards arrived to take AA7 to the airlock.  AA7 slumped his shoulders, looking dejected and resigned to his fate.  The first security moved to handcuff the Umojan Infiltrator only to find himself reeling in pain when AA7 rammed his elbow into his stomach.  AA7 snatched the first security guard’s gun from its holster as the guard fell to the floor and fired a shot through the second guard’s head.

AA7 had one last chance to grab the artifact and escape and he wasn’t going to let it go to waste.

Black Dream stood guard outside the entrance to the main Science Lab with a detail of the Cartier’s security guards.

“AA7’s gotta come down here if he wants the artifact.  Keep your eyes peeled.” warned Black Dream.

On alert, Black Dream noticed the faint distortion of a personnel cloaking device.  Taking aim, he fired a quick burst from his gauss rifle.  There was a discharge of an electrical field as AA7’s cloaking device was disabled.  The Umojan Infiltrator hurled something at Black Dream and his squad before taking cover behind a nearby bulkhead.

“GRENADE!” exclaimed Black Dream.

The grenade exploded, hurling Black Dream into the wall.

Laconius stood on guard in the small room outside the vault where the Artifact was stored.  AA7, now armed with Black Dream’s gauss rifle, stormed into the room and aimed at Laconius.

“Open the vault door, and get out of my way, Laconius.  I don’t want to have to kill you.” warned AA7.

There was a series of loud footsteps from the science labs behind AA7 as Black Dream, his armour badly scorched from the grenade but otherwise fine, charged into the labs in an effort to catch up with AA7.  He stopped at the doorway, blocking AA7’s exit.

“It’s over, AA7.” said Laconius.

AA7 was executed by Krazy who was cloaked and hiding in the room outside the Vault with Laconius!

TERRAN DOMINION WINS!

ROLES:
Saint Kerrigan- Crewman
Laconius- Crewman
Krazy- Ghost
Black Dream- Marine
AA7- Infiltrator

So yeah, congrats on totally confusing me on what was going on for the entire game. :P It was awesome!

So, I gotta ask...why me, Mafia?

lol, mAc and I were trying to figure out what the hell was going on a few hours ago. Eventually I put my money on Lav/AA7 being the mafia and Lac being a gigantic troll.

I WAS CORRECT

I think Laconius just wanted to prove that he could make Black_Dream vote for anyone, anytime.  He's mad with power, I say!

I realized I could have swayed this, but I got so busy today that I didn't have time to post :P  The last big post I did took me over an hour to construct.

I don't know why Lavarinth quit on me.  He disappeared for most of the day, made no mention to me of any strategies he had, then rage quitted after I tried to sway a new direction once Krazy had detected him.  I asked him about it and he said he had some strategy of his own involving Laconious and that I failed to see his grand design.  It's hard to see your partner's plans when it's neither posted in your inbox nor in-game.

How we determined the first death?  It was random.  True to my word, no new players were a target.  It came down to Krazy who had one game of experience and Saint Kerrigan.  Lavarinth rolled the dice and it came out for Saint Kerrigan.

I really liked playing with the new players, but I think the only veteran players of Lavarinth and I were burned out because of the small game.  It kind of fell on us to steer things, and unfortunately, both of us were the Mafia.  I do not recommend for an Overlord to host a 6-player game that can only last for 2 days.  I'm sorry your game wasn't more productive, Thalraxal. :(

What were the outsiders thoughts?  I'd say Krazy is really standing out as someone promising, and Laconious' enthusiasm is a hoot!
