Milldawg's tactics are good, to prevent someone who can do anything yet be "fair" about it, but as Mucky said, we can't do anything without all working together, and with one already going to Ricky, there's no choice but to follow.

I vote to give Ricky AIDS.

Guys, I just noticed something in Ricky's descriptive post.
Killing/Leeching him will prevent him to do a night action.

Wouldn't lynching the Mastermind be potentially a BAD thing?  Ricky doesn't care who wins.  But he does care about the GAME.  I don't expect Ricky to favor one side to the other, but as the painter is proud of his artwork, I can see him leveling the playing field.  So far, the Mafia is always at the advantage of the start of the game.  So which side would be afraid of a third faction Mastermind like Ricky?  The Mafia.

So far, three have voted to kill our Mastermind.  That places Milldawg, Mucky, and Lavarinth at the top of my suspect list.  I don't know about Milldawg, his "role" explanation sounds pretty convincing with all the math he did of who is who.  But I don't agree with his assessment about getting rid of Ricky is a good thing.  But Mucky and Lavarinth tag-teaming off each other is pretty evident.  And between the two, I can guess who the mafia mastermind is.

To summarize:
* Mastermind's INTEREST is to the value of the GAME
* Mafia has ADVANTAGE at start of game of being anonymous
* Mafia is afraid of a THIRD PARTY potentially killing them to BALANCE game.

Suspect:
Moderate - MUCKY - a known mastermind.  Can spin anything, which is why if Milldawg is a "high templar" type, he's smart enough to pretend to latch onto the good side.  Or his partner is Milldawg and he's siding with him.
Low - MILLDAWG - instigated lynching Ricky, but role uncertain.
Low - LAVARINTH - Agrees with Mucky, but always gets himself killed and turns out innocent.

So at least one of the three above is Mafia.  Read very carefully the tone these guys are saying about the Mastermind.  True colors have shown themselves.

Looks like the SERIOUS PHASE has begun.

I just don't like chaos, and I know Ricky will do everything to cause chaos. How am I supposed to figure out what's going on if Ricky is messing stuff up? With so many unknown factors, I am merely applying Occam's Razor...to Ricky's throat.

As for the others, I don't know. Frankly, I just want to get rid of Ricky's annoying crap that he sprung on us without warning. I don't care who the mafia are yet; we'll worry about that tomorrow. We'll have more evidence by then too.

Although I can certainly understand wanting to get rid of Ricky's impending Reign of Terror... isn't it a stupid idea to waste our votes doing that?

Think about it.  There's already just 8 people left... 4 are mafia, and they get 2 kills per night.  If we spend our day killing Ricky, then tomorrow 2 more people will die (or 1, if the doctor saves the day), leaving us with 2 (or 3) innocents VS 4 mafia.  Yes, even in the best case scenario, the innocents are outnumbered by the mafia.  GG?

I don't get why you guys haven't considered this.  Granted, we're already in bad shape... but if we actually lynch a KILLER today, then we at least won't be outnumbered.

Aek, you're right, but I just found it rather ridiculous to randomly go ahead and change his vote to me, so I ridiculously changed mine to him.
