Oh!  Then I retract my statement.  I thought that dropship was a Wraith.  Nevermind.

Well atleast we know dropships will be in it, score one!
I'm pretty sure wraiths will be in it, they are the main fighters for the Terran, but we will just have to see.

I don't think they'd get rid of the Wraith.

If you look in one of the newer artworks, you'll see a Orca-ish futuristic helicopter kind of thing, which may end up replacing the wraith, or at the very least act as the Terran's aerial ground-attack unit if it does indeed become a functional unit.

I'd rather them go with a more standard, perhaps russian-styled helicopter look, then ripping off of CNC though.

No Helis I'd still prefer the Wraith or a more powerful ground attack fighter w/ a aerial assault frigate of some sort that doesn't suck like the Valkyrie.

Literally the wraith isnt that good at ground attacks, but in groups ya they are, they should add a new air unit to count as a counterpart of the wraith, it can attack ground better while the wraith is an aerial assault literally with its Gemini missiles.

They're only keeping units that are essential the the races identity. lings, rines, and zeals will never get cut, carriers, BCs, wraith, mutas would never get cut either. (i wouldve thought they wouldn't cut scouts either, but pheonix is a good replacement)

For a short while it looked like theyd cut the carrier, now we see that isnt the case. If they cut the wraith, theyll replace it with a unit just like it (carrier/tempest)

A Wraith upgrade would be really interesting. I don't think Valks and Devourers will make it though, since the most popular and used Brood War air unit(the Corsair) got cut. Meh, they should've kept it instead of adding the mediocre Phoenix. I'll miss that reckless Corsair pilot voice.

Yeah, I never liked the Valk, after there were too many units on the map it stopped firing missiles ><

The phoenix is going to be able to exploit the computers so harshly, especially the zerg. If 3 phoenixes can utterly rape a mass of mutas, the comps simply won't stand a chance, since no doubt they'll stand in the aoe just like in every other game.

I hope they keep lurkers. One of my favorite zerg units.

I'm pretty sure they will keep at least one expansion unit for each race.

The Protoss will still be able to build Dark Templar.

The Terrans will probably keep Medics

The Zerg will probably keep Lurkers.

All the ground exp units, you're right, they more than likely will get rid of the exp air units.
