To be honest, CC always been a place where it can be a bit hard to fit initially (even way back then). At my beginnings at CC, the elite attitude was all mighty high at CC and you just had to fit well (highly preferably with a decent map or campaign under your belt) or be out period.
Although now, it's mostly intolerance against those that seem "too stupid" to most veterans. Although the catch is the "respected minimum" intelligence is higher on this site compared to many other sites.

I played the Fenix when I was only about 12, I was really big into StarCraft then. Then I played most fo the other ones on this site and really enjoyed them, making me want to join the forums.

Yes, just like me. I've played all the campaigns on CC, and like you, I enjoyed them (seriously). It's ironic. Thanks to that, I'm doing my own campaign...RCcola wrote: I played the Fenix when I was only about 12, I was really big into StarCraft then. I've started campaigns, but never had the ambition to finish them, it's sad, I wish I would.

For a not being a native English speaker you have superior writing skills to 99% of Americans/Canadians in the world. Hats off to you. Or hats off to the failure of our education system. Either one. Or both.
Well, let'see. I started modded when I was around 11, and I'm 21 now. I started starcraft maybe 9-8 years ago and mostly lurked until later on. Then the whole fiasco started and I made a pretty big mess of everything that still troubles me even until today.
It's also funny how HKS and I met with the purpose of him doing wireframes for one of my early projects and he still hasn't ever touched a wireframe.

Ya true, I started playing War of the Tribes and Legacy of the Confederation which got my mind creating all these cool stories. Then I played RCX's vision of the future and was great so I just started making campaigns, though only two I have made have actually been put on the internet, (one was Revengers on Blizzplanet, and Legacy of a Warrior on here).omega20 wrote:Yes, just like me. Re: Inuyasha7 Post your thoughts here.
basically the same as me. I played the Gallantry (I think), LotC and VotF, and I was in love. I started trying to map and mod and stuff, but it was mostly garbage till about the time WC3 came out. I used to do a lot of terraining, and skinning on a site called WC3 Modforge. Somehow, I got to know Iskatu pretty well. (I have very fond memories of the Thorium Heart, haha) I have yet to complete something, haha. But I do usually make one super indepth quality map, then be embarrassed by it because I usually end up getting a lot better than I started, thus leaving it to rot. I'm ChaoticDisciple btw. (yeah I signed up as Grandma awhile ago, but I the pass was beyond me, so it was easier to make a newer, better account, heh)Marine 382BB wrote:Ya true, I started playing War of the Tribes and Legacy of the Confederation which got my mind creating all these cool stories. Oh, hey Gradma. You could of simply asked me to reset your pass.
The one thing newcomers need to understand here is they're absolutely welcome to be here, just please show a little sense and act the same the rest of us do. Don't come in here flailing your "omg i n3ed help plz" and your "ply mah maapszz" because that wont be looked highly on. Marine, Omega, etc. have effectively posted their projects on CC in a respectable manner and it's gotten them not so slapped around as other newcomers would.

I don't know man, you're just a total faggot (in the non-homosexual sense.) You act like you're 12 or something. Also, your avatar is the same as RCX's so it's very confusing when you post.Inuyasha7 wrote: You all have something you dont like about me and i'm sick of getting flamed.
