It is not meant to be a demo, so I wouldn't worry about it to much.

I read recently that when SC2 hits I will still be locked out of playing with you all and stuck on europe.

Looks like you'll just have to move to the states then, Maglok. You can stay in my dorm. We'll party til the wee hours! And then we'll play some SC2!

This is true. Along with Asians separated from both servers.

A crippling blow to the online community, along with no chat rooms. I don't know how they think this is going to help ESPORTS in any shape or form.

Am sure it is probably technical limitations. Mabye they also have issues with potential language issues, even though I play english anyways.

Isn't technical issues, their excuse is latency.

Which didn't stop them from making other realms accessible in sc1, d2, wc3...

How is latency not technical? 

It's just an excuse. And a lame one at that. Latency wasn't really an issue for most people unless their isp was shitty or whatever, which Blizzard has no control over. There's plenty of instances where European or Korean players can play with US and not have much issue. Totally locking out that opportunity is just dumb and will kill tournaments.
