It probably was, but those russians hacked the site again.

Wargiant, who also manages the backend for this website, is happy to report that the malicious scripts on SA are gone for good although the website will be flagged by Google for a few more days until it respiders everything. 

Anything still going on there?  I haven't dropped by in a while.

Based on what happened to Lavarinth, I think I'll wait to even try visiting it till 4 or 5 people say its okay.  Viruses that can shut down your computer without so much as downloading a file - scary.

I've visited the site a few times since Wargiant's okay. Haven't had any virus attacks since then, just the "obnoxious" malware warnings which kept me from logging in.

I haven't seen an official okay so.. Makes me edgy.

just browse the site from a linux OS, nothing to fear then.

Google says it's safe.

My computer didn't explode from checking samods lately.

What's the latest? I'm too scared to check for fear that my comp will get skullfucked again. It was quite messy last time and I'd rather not risk going through it again... 

The site has been always fine and the forum has been fine for over a month.  It's just been a little quiet since it's waiting for a return from forum users like you.
