The idea is just to talk about stuff until someone does something SUSPICIOUS. You have to talk to generate evidence, and if you're innocent, you have nothing to hide, so not talking should be considered suspicious. What I am trying to say is GUYS TALK OK

Re: MAFIA IX - Terran/Zerg Mafia! DAY ONE
All right, time to get serious folks.
Here's the situation. We have three infested Terrans. If you took time to analyze their roles and ours, the Zerg are at a terrible disadvantage. The Zerg grow more powerful only as the game progresses. They will be looking to parasite special roles, then ensnaring those they discover. While they are killing us one by one, they will be manipulating votes. In the 2nd round, they will have 4 votes to swing against another innocent player.
For the Terran roles, we have a tremendous advantage of some very potent powers. The moment a Zerg is discovered, we can safely kill it publicly.
Beware of the Terrans who are very quiet or finger-pointing chaos. They are trying to look as subtle as possible until they figure out who everyone is and can ensnare/kill them. They know if the Parasite Infested Terran is killed, the Ensnared Infested Terran loses a lot of potency.

I have seen the Desler. I have tasted of his milk and honey.

i dont really think a lack of talking should lead to suspicion and finger pointing, especially considering the forum venue.

I voted for DoW. He hasn't posted anything before or after that. ShadowFlare also hasn't posted, though I suppose that's typical of her.
I won't be changing my vote until I see a good reason to do so.

Re: MAFIA IX - Terran/Zerg Mafia! DAY ONE
If you're busy then you're busy, but even so, it takes me about as long as it takes to fire out an IM to write these posts. The problem with not posting as much is, the natural inclination in Mafia is to hide, since people who talk are making themselves more obvious and therefore are more likely to be suspected even if they're not doing anything. So, accepting that you are going to be suspected is part of the game. The only people who benefit from hiding is the Mafia, since they'll want to maintain a low profile and hopefully go unnoticed while everyone else goes after each other. So, the innocents will usually want to see who's trying to play it safe. But if you have a whole bunch of innocent people also being scared to say anything then you're giving the Mafia a bunch of targets to hide behind. Which is why it's suspicious if nobody is talking, because if the person is innocent then they should be trying to sort things out. The Mafia aren't going to come out and accuse themselves... (Well, when Milldawg isn't playing, anyway...)Murdermasterx wrote: i dont really think a lack of talking should lead to suspicion and finger pointing, especially considering the forum venue.

Plus, if everyone just sits and waits for everyone else then nothing will happen because everyone will be waiting for everyone else to take the first step.
We haven't heard from a few people, like ShadowFlare, DoW, CDL, and I think that's it... maybe Tipereth, but I don't think in this specific case it's that big a deal since it's not like we had a night round to have people investigate and possibly find something. Should still let us know you're alive, though.

Re: MAFIA IX - Terran/Zerg Mafia! DAY ONE
It's not as though I modified the meaning of my post... I merely added "changing vote to" since the rules seem to call for that. I just think it would have been a waste of space for me to make two posts in a row that said nearly the exact same thing.Milldawg wrote: Aekenon DO NOT EDIT POSTS. Policy is to not double post and edit your post
Due to the sake of DoW not having been heard from yet, I vote for DoW.
Seriously? We ask for people to be active, simple.

Re: MAFIA IX - Terran/Zerg Mafia! DAY ONE
Mafia policy is to double post, because people can retroactively edit suspicious posts and be like WHAT NO I NEVER SAID THAT. I stated this in the first post, which you guys should try reading sometime.
