I remember hearing speculation that Garona might be Half-Orc/Half-Draenie, which would have made sense at that time (The Last Guardian being released well before Burning Crusade).  But when the Draenie were retconned into unfallen Eredar, it killed that theory.  Poor Garona, an innocent victim of continued retconnings. :(

Oh, well.  Draenor's got Sand Gnomes and we've only seen a small piece of the planet.  Maybe there's some near-humans we just haven't met yet  ::)

There are no sand gnomes. Are you mad? How could they live in sand? And why?

I hope you aren't suggesting that Garona is half-Sand Gnome.

Oh, god no.  I wouldn't wish that on anybody.  But if there's a Draenor version of one Azerothian race, there's chance that there's others.  It's a lame explanation, but it's better than nothing.

Maybe there was a disturbing love story of Orc and Draenei for Garona then?

Last I heard, Blizzard said Arthas can die, but not Ner'Zhul. Hopefully, the Lich King will make a come back in a later expansion. He is by far second best villain next to Deathwing.

I was riding around the Hinterlands earlier this week and remembered that there was an Emerald Dream.

^ I haven't!

Gilneas is my favorite Human nation.  In WarCraft II lore, Gilneas is described to be just as powerful as Lordaeron was, with the largest standing army.  However, they refused to cooperate with the Alliance and have stayed neutral in the ensuing conflicts by isolating themselves behind the Greymane gate.

So where are they now?

Gilneas is supposed to be that zone south of Silverpine, blocked by that hugeass wall.  It's really a shame that they've decided to ignore it for so long.  ...And all those other Eastern Kingdom zones that aren't in the game yet.
