Oh yeah, we're on the verge of collapse over here. The water line is currently at 0 inches, but that could go up any second now.

I didn't realize Bush was the cause of tornadoes and floods! IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW! ... Even though I live in California.. Where I don't HAVE a "Mississippi river" whatever THAT is.

Perhaps the floods aren't affecting to you, but their consequences yes. Thanks to the floods, entire crops have been lost. Thanks to the loss of crops, food is more expensive. If food is more expensive, you must pay more. If you must pay more, you have less money for yourself. Understand?

There's crops all over the world. Natural disasters (apparently also caused by Bush) occur all the time. Society these days knows how to manage crops, food, and money during these situations.
If anything- It may suck that people lost homes, but at least it means we're not short on water.

40 % of the corn crops were destroyed and with all this ethanol bullshit going on, it helped raise prices by a lot. Over a year ago I remember getting a dozen ears of corn for $2 now it's 20 for $10, I mean thats not going to drain your wallet but it just shows the ridiculousness of inflation, and Bush isn't helping.

Bush didn't cause the flood, but he is not fit to lead at any time in this country, especially times of crisis.

You're the kind of tool who would call Hoover a bad president because the market crashed during his presidency. Also you don't understand economics at all.
Bush must have been a really awful leader to get re-elected.
Also what the hell, worst president ever? Do the names Nixon and Taft mean nothing to you?

And next up is McCain who falls asleep in conferences, though the country can't get any wore. Reagan was old too. Or there's Obama who will be assassinated because of Southern White Supremacists, they will not be ruled by an african american.

Thats what they invented candy for. To eat when all the crops are flooded. I will go stuff my American face with McDonalds and there is nothing at McDonalds that requires farmland or Mississipi rivers. Just good old fashion automated factories that make cheeseburgers from old shoes. Thats what living in America means, never having to worry about your neighbors house flooding, or hearing about some kid being kidnapped in the alley behind the White House.
I don't know where you live, Britain, France, Tokyo, whatever. You guys are spoiled by crops and farm land. You rely too much on nature. You need to think more about how you could build factories to do the work you shouldn't be doing. Factories manned by outsourced labor. We outsource all our factories to China, Russia, and Turkey. You can have your fancy land and your tractors and your little horses, but in America we like things like the Ford Mustang and the Toyota Camry. We don't have time to deal with your fancy pig slaughtering houses or your vegetable crops. We can order that stuff off of Amazon if we need to.

And that's why we're failing.

What's wrong with outsourcing? Everyone wins.
