I'm guessing this is just another one of those hyped things that later turn out to be not so very cool.  Such as a Warcraft III expansion or something like that. 

Unless this is something completely new (new as in not related to any of the milked out WC or Diablo universes) I'm afraid we'll just be like "Meh."

Wroooooooooooooooooooooong. Runes mean nothing. They're reused art. Look at the actual rune items in Diablo and compare them to WarCraft "runes" you see in game. Look at box art of Diablo and WarCraft.

I don't think its runes but its a control panel to a battlecruiser that has been frozen by the Protoss for safe keeping.

Notice how it tips upwards at the end?  Thats so when I kick people in the ass or in the nuts, they know it was me.  Thats just in case I decide to wear my mask that day.  Which is also pretty good.
