Been working on map 11 (and stalling finishing up map 10/9/8). Finished most of the terrain and unit placement, but I'm at a dilemma for what I want to do as far as map flow. Theres currently a large terran (ally) base, medium toss base (ally), 2 huge terran and 1 zerg base(s) (enemies). I kind of want the map to flow like an RPG where your heroes go in with addition support from the ai and work into the base. I want the computer AI's all set on insane and see how they'll duke it out, its a 3 sided fight with the toss/terran allies on 1, the 2 enemy terrans on another, and the zerg on their own side. All bases are currently heavily fortified with units and buildings and multiple resource nodes. 1 solution is that I have the player choose to either go with toss or terran forces and command them. Another is to have the heroes as the only controllable units and they'd get stronger and have a place to heal and they'd earn minerals/gas for kills.
Post your suggestions on what should be done for this map!

Personally, I'm a larger fan of the single-person experiencing because it makes me feel as if I'm truly that character. But, if per optional missions, I can acquire the aid of allies through some heavy work (not some simply granny objectives) I'd feel like I've made an accomplishment and take the helpful hand as I recuperate.
Say for example, my allies are in a dead standstill fight against the enemies, but there's a barricaded area I come across and break through, alerting my team mates they can sent in a mob through here and they follow up by sending in a group (that wont necessarily survive) to cause some damage on the inside.
Or, if they are being scripted to go through certain areas, find a path they can travel through to send some infantry through so they can send in a few to go in an alternate route. Small things like that, which don't epically change the tide of the war, but make you feel like you're helping.

Just want to let you all know I am STILL working on this campaign, I had a lot of issues with the 8th map that finally got resolved today thanks to Meta, so give him some pie if you see him. I'll try to get the rest of the campaign finished up released in about a month.
