Diablo trailer is okay. The writing isn't anything notable but overall much superior to the hots/wow one.

You mean there's a new one?IskatuMesk wrote:Diablo trailer is okay. The writing isn't anything notable but overall much superior to the hots/wow one.
So Haley is the chick who was getting tentacle raped, this means that my prediction of HotS ending with a Kerrigan Nova futa scene is 99% likely.Eredalis wrote:So, according to the lore panel, Stukow will return in HotS. I've seen it as well. Perhaps there's some hope for Diablo 3. Some.IskatuMesk wrote:Diablo trailer is okay. The writing isn't anything notable but overall much superior to the hots/wow one.
Sarah Kerrigan apparently has lost her memory as the Queen of Blades (this was reiterated multiple times by the panel), and is now in a more of a confused state as to wanted to complete her own objectives while trying to understand why everyone hates her. Think of blending the emotions of seething hatred to kill someone, confusion as to what exactly have you done to deserve all this hate from not one, not two, but all three races, and ultimately the ongoing love fiasco that you try to deny so much. I think it's too much, honestly, for any actor to replicate a true-sounding voice that can compliment the character, but I'm hoping... Hoping hard.Thalraxal wrote:Tricia Helfer has a lovely voice, but she's just not good at expressing the kind of vengeful rage they're assigning to Kerrigan here. She can do that terrifying "I'm angry, but I'm remaining calm" voice, but that's really not Kerrigan's style at all, or what they're going for here. As a result, generic dialogue remains generic.
Also: Am I the only one who finds Kerrigan's new character design is still really bland? I'm hoping it's intentional because they intend for her to regain some of her Zerg attributes and wanted to give her a very "basic" starting appearance, but considering all the videos and promo-art of her, it doesn't look to be the case.
Kinda shocked that they're thinking of removing units now, considering the loops they jump through during beta to keep units in the game. I do consider this to be a good sign, even if they're looking at dropping the Carrier in favour of a giant Corsair.
The cinematic panel was rather boring, but the cinematic itself was honestly amazing to me. I think the scene that stuck out to me completely with the seven lesser evils waking up turning to face her, that sinking fog was an instant win for me. Honestly though, looking at all that work they do, I can see why they only hire animators as a 2 year contract over full time. Definitely lost my interest in there, I rather be in game animation now, hah!IskatuMesk wrote:Diablo trailer is okay. The writing isn't anything notable but overall much superior to the hots/wow one.
I sat behind the guy who asked about Stukov, and right before he got up I heard him mention it to his friend, "going to ask Stukov" and it's funny because the entire Q&A time I was contemplating standing up once again to ask THE question that I know would get ignored: Stukov. It was ignored at a press event I went to, before WoL came out, with the response of: "Oh.. Stukov.. we forgot! Oh man, oh well!" But yeah, I got a little too excited over Stukov, but I should of gone up to ask about Aldaris!Eredalis wrote:So, according to the lore panel, Stukow will return in HotS. I think this has to do a lot with just our psyche. We're the Terrans in their universe, and if they're crumbling, essentially we are supposed to feel like the human race is coming to an end. Think about it- I felt no pity during the Zeratul mission where everyone was dying, but had it been Terrans screaming and crying, I'd of felt some guilt not being able to survive. I don't believe Valerian'll die though, he's been noted to play a large role eventually when asked about him pre-WoL. Five bucks says he kills his dad before Kerrigan can.RazorclawX wrote:What I want to know is why does Blizzard feel the need to kick the Terrans whenever they want to do a Starcraft story (especially, after the trailer, now I feel even Valerian won't survive). Sooner or later you won't have any credible Terran character left and then we'll all be stuck with Protoss non-characters saving the universe (again).
Note: I don't care for Raynor or his Raiders at all.
Not going to lie, I lol'd at this.wibod wrote:So Haley is the chick who was getting tentacle raped, this means that my prediction of HotS ending with a Kerrigan Nova futa scene is 99% likely.Eredalis wrote:So, according to the lore panel, Stukow will return in HotS. The funny thing is I think people are more willing to accept that Valerian will kill his dad with Space Frostmourne than they are Kerrigan or Raynor doing it with the Power of Love and Justice.Lavarinth wrote:I don't believe Valerian'll die though, he's been noted to play a large role eventually when asked about him pre-WoL.
