I've been playing without the sempq and it really sucks.
I've done all the things this thread said, ran the Fenix.EXE through exe2mpq,ran that through MPQDraft and got a new Fenix sempq, and extracted the Glue folder.
It still can not load glue\mainmenu\exit.smk.
Where does the Glue folder and Sound folder go?

Do the rest of the files work? Exit.smk is a simple video file that plays in the main menu. It's not as necessary as the main files to mod the game.

Solution for glue\mainmenu\exit.smk: Just find the origional one in stardat.mpq and put it into your custom exe for the modified fenix.

Btw, if someone could upload an updated version of fenix to run with an exe, we could put it on the site.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't know the why of this but this is what I have done.

I downloaded fenix-1.zip through fenix-5.zip into my map folder. Unziped all into a fenix-1 folder. I got a sound folder and 26 Mission .scx and the Fenix.exe.

I put the fenix.exe into my StarCraft folder and tried to play. It didn't work so I played with the normal starcraft.exe. I got the custom music but not the custom hero sounds.

I went through the prosses of updating the fenix.exe and extracting all the Glue stuff into a glue folder which was placed into the
fenix-1 folder. It still did't work so that's when I ask where the glue folder should go.

I got to thinking I really don't know what I'm doing but if the custom .exe has to be in the starcraft folder and it's looking for stuff it cann't find maybe that stuff should be in the starcraft folder too.

I put the sounds and glue folders  there and magicly it worked. I got the custom hero sounds and all the other custom stuff. I'm enjoying playing the way the creater wanted me to play.
