Shared vision is trigger based with computers, not forces based.

I still can't get it to do shared vision. I  have a computer player on one force, and the human on the other. I did a trigger to make the computer the human player's ally, so I thought I would get shared vision. However, it still won't work. I don't know what trigger makes it so you can get shared vision, I didn't see one.

No just because they are allies doesnt mean they can get shared vision, its triggerd base. It is under the trigger-section RUN AI Script (not at Location) and then press the button and it should list the trigger like Turn ON Shared Vision with player # or Turn OFF etc. That is if you have a map editor that is not the original one.

Hey, everyone. My computer just took a dump yesterday and I lost all my starcraft files. But I'm gonna re download everything and get it together. I'm just really glad that the files I created are already on the internet so I can still download them. But, whatever. The new version of map 1 should be done within a couple of days. Maybe today or tomorrow. Its looking really good so far.

When you finsih working on your first map what you should do instead is post screenshots not post every map, finish a few MAKE SURE they are finished and you test them first.

Sorry, but we've heard this excuse over 9 years that it's just like "ok, next project." I don't know how all these random harddrive and computer problems occur. I've only had one but everyone should know everything on a harddrive is always recoverable.

I just recovered it. I got the recovery disc and everything. The map is almost finished, then I'll post some screens. But either way, my pc is a piece of shit. I'll be finished soon.

I would suggest (you dont have to follow) play the maps yourself, do some screen shots instead of hosting every map when you believe its ready.  Get a few ready and done and send a demo.

Lav: I just got a crap load of viruses and it kept crashing my computer. I wiped the hard drive, but saved all my SC files, so nothing bad happened.

AVG is like an active virus scanner, its pretty cool
