The most surprising stuff to come out of the leaked cables so far is actually the Vatican's positions on things. There's one where they attribute the backlash against that little child molestation thing to a high concentration of "Jewish lawyers and judges" as well as the "Jewish media" because you know, the rest of us Americans shouldn't be upset about it.

That's not even a statement that falls on any ideological side. It's just so gallingly stupid that you have to laugh at it.
