My maps are in "C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft II\Maps" and the only difference from where you said to put it, is the program files. The map names should be unchanged but just incase, it is supposed to be these names right?
PURITY_01_Begin, PURITY_02, PURITY_03, PURITY_04, PURITY_05.

Also, like I said before, it loads PURITY_02 after PURITY_01_Begin just fine but not PURITY_03.

Hmmm. I wonder...

Just to be sure, try opening PURITY_02 with Galaxy, go to Triggers and check the "CC arrives for victory" trigger. Look for the command "Game - Set the next map to (map name)".

What does it say? PURITY_03 or PURITY 03?

The map name is correct but I noticed the cut-scenes which all load the next map fine excluding PURITY_5 victory action has hide dialogs and hide score screen while the missions both PURITY_2 and PURITY_4 which fail to load the next map has a victory action of showing dialogs and hiding the score screen. The victory action may be the cause but I've yet to test the mission with victory action hiding dialogs.

Thanks for the bug catches, guys. The problem is indeed showing the dialogs.

Glad you liked mission 2, High Zealot. A lot of love went into that one on my end.

I'm also considering removing Thors from the tech tree for Mission 1. Might sleep on it...

Hey man, I played this a couple days ago and I keep forgetting to comment. I personally enjoyed it, a lot. Bucky is -by far- my favorite character. However, I have a few nitpicks. Not having SCII on this computer I'll have to go by memory. Here goes:

Intro Cutscene:
I loved this very much, western feel was very fitting. Though, I didn't really understand why the Marshal killed that girl (who's name I forgot). It seemed random and out of place. It would also be nice if we could have a bit more of Klisgen's past talked about- although that would needlesley drag on the cutscene, for sure. I just wanna know his relationship with the girl and the rest of the town kind of. Also, at the start where the camera pans down the street, you can clearly see the Marshal standing outside the 'bar', or whatever structure it's meant to be. I don't think this was intended :P

Level 1:
That first rush took me off guard and actually forced me to restart. So did the Cattlebruiser rush. Anyway, after much toil and terror, I was finally able to reach Bucky. As soon as the cutscene was over his was immediatly my favorite character : D The terrain was meh, it seemed kind of rushed in some places and not really anything amazing anywhere. I don't understand why you can build absolutely EVERYTHING except are blocked from some air units. Also strange that you start with a science vessel but can't build more. Same with the automated refinery. Overall, I found this mission pretty fun. I loved the music track.

Cutscene 2:
Fairly good cutscene to introduce more of the plot, well done. Cutscene didn't drag on as much as the intro which was good. I like very much how Klisgen is skeptical of the Purity of Man's intentions, it would be unrealistic for him to just go, "Oh, cool, sounds good and believeable."

Level 2:
I really liked this level, and the terrain has obviously improved. Great music track, I enjoyed it. I loved the conversation with Bucky at the start. I also didn't notice till this mission but Klisgen calls him Bucky and the scientist (See, I have no memory for names) calls him the Probe. This is a nice touch to the dialogue, showing their differing character traits. Nice thing with the collosus, too.

Cutscene 3:
Oh wow, did this ever end with a cliffhanger! The High Templar (Again, no name memory :eegads: ) is really cool, I'd like to see his character fleshed out! I really liked Klisgen's dialogue in this mission; his voice actor pulled it off well.

That's it for the missons. I really liked the voice acting by the way, it was done pretty well but there are a few times where it could be better, just sounding meh. Klisgen is very good though. "You don't want to see what I look like under the mask..." Also Klisgen and the High Templar have no 'Attack Unit' sounds, they just use a normal marine's or high templar, which can sound very wierd :S

Overall, it was very well done, and I'm enjoying the plot very much so far. I can't wait for the rest.

Glad you like it so far. I agree with your criticisms regarding the terrain: I helped reworking the first two maps (intro cinematic and mission 1), but I didn't change them too much - at least, not as much as I wanted to - as they weren't my creations and besides doing so would have messed with DJ's triggers. :P

Anyway, let's hope this will get more people to make SC2 campaigns!

I just wanted to pop in and say thanks for the very constructive criticism (and of course for the appreciation). I realized when I was putting the finishing touches on mission 1 that if I was doing it over again, I'd do a lot of things differently. The process of making these two missions, along with the great feedback I've gotten, has taught me a lot about my strengths and weaknesses and what I need to do differently as I finish the campaign's other missions.

JimRaynor, glad you enjoyed Bucky. When I was doing my initial brainstorming for the story, I wrote down something like "R2D2-esque probe." Zolthanon (the high templar) will definitely be a huge part of the second half of the story.

I should take a moment to plug for Scott Stoked, the guy who voices Kligsen. His work is amazing, as you've seen, and he's also unfailingly pleasant to work with. He also does a great Southern accent, which I asked him not to use for this part because the character is from the UED.

I don't know if he's looking for more work, but he seems to have a ton of different projects, and if any of you guys are looking for voices for your own stuff you might want to get in touch. http://www.scottstoked.com/

Random question, DJ, but After clicking the links to all the downloads, I only downloaded.. PURITY_02, 03, and 05, and multiples of 02. I have a suspicion the files are mislabeled.

@Lav: That is strange, it worked fine for me. Looking back at it now, there is a second PURITY_02 on the download page, apparently a hard mode (hah, and I thought the original was hard). I do see the others you're looking for, strange that you couldn't download them.

@DJ: I checked out Scott Stoked's site, looks great. I listened to the demo reel, you're right, he does an amazing southern accent! He has a great voice, it's neat that he can change it so many ways. He's perfect for Kligsen, and the script compliments his voice acting nicely.

Hi Lav,

The "Recent Files" bar on SC2Mapster only shows the most recent 5 files, and there are 6 in the campaign now including both versions of Mission 1. So the opening cutscene map doesn't show up in that bar. you need to click on the Files bar at the top of the page to get at it.

Ugh, I'll take another crack at it tonight, I've never been a fan of SC2Mapster's website layout. Thanks for the tip.
