I also forgot to mention: you can target the Harpoon Rifle on Shizuka herself. She gets shackled and it probably lasts forever. There's nothing that can dispel it, unfortunately. If you accidentally target it on Shizuka, you have to restart.

Meh, remembered these:

Book 1 (the first map): somehow Hokuto ends up in the center of town. It might depend on her class.
Book 2: Fire in the Sky: fog of war obscures the cutscenes.

Is "Fire in the Sky" that mission where Kosseimaru revives his Ministers (and you have to defend the Haunted Gold Mine)? Because I also have a bug to report on that one: you have a Kanna hero but you can also summon her as a unit at the Haunted Gold Mine. I believe there's another Minister that also suffers from this bug as well.

In addition to the bugfixes, I've actually started adding stuff, too.

So far Book 4 is getting most of the treatment. I've also added a way to get a Gem of True Seeing in it for those of you who still need help getting the Black Moon Orb in the last level (the gem itself is not in the last level).

Also threw away the cantrip system, since it never really worked.

Finally, added more cutscene pictures. It's pretty much something I've always meant to do, but lacked the time.

That's not even in my version....

Nice to know you're adding new stuff.

My bad then, I guess I have an outdated version. I apologize for the trouble.

Although I haven't had this problem on my most recent playthrough, in that mission sometimes Higure would sometimes walk into my base, usually after the cutscenes from recovering the ministers. It probably had something to do with the circle of power being owned by the orange player.

I just remembered, the other double Minister I was talking about is not a Minister, it was Ziel. But my version is probably old, so nevermind.

And what Xenon said is also true. Last time I played the mission, Higure and his forces came to my base. For some reason, they were allies to me and I was an enemy to them. It was quite a mess.

Hokuto's class in Book 2 is chosen based on Nekurow's class in Book 1, apparently. While this may be intentional, it seems counterintuitive.

I'm seriously contemplating removing Hokuto's classes entirely. They're completely useless as she's only really around for one or two levels as a playable character.

I just finished a somewhat dynamic art for Book 5 which I think better conveys what I wanted to show when Razlia bursts out of Jenna's body. As in, she's torn apart from the inside. It's one of the things I was dissatisfied with and I wanted to make sure people knew why Kevin would prefer to die while still retaining his humanity.

Still in cartoony graphics, mind, but I'm sure the point gets across.

I still can't get myself to actually color a picture of Abolisher. He looks so cool in my doodles, but I have no motivation to do it.

Dang, I liked Hokuto's 4th class (along with Nekurow's). It's the only class on any character with Endurance Aura, which is useful even if you barely get to use it.

And I got the point of that scene the first time.  :'(

Given how slow Blizzard always is with patches, I'm sure you have plenty of time to finish stuff.

Edit: Whoops, I spoke too soon. Anyone currently playing WoS should avoid downloading the new patch if possible.

I haven't had a lot of time to playtest the things I've changed. I could have inadvertently broke something.

Although apparently the ending cutscene for Book 2 was broken the whole time and nobody said anything about it (Kanna doesn't get zapped).

Also likely going to toss some of the extra art ideas I had tossed around, because they aren't as important as the ones I put in already and I've got no real motivation to do them.

Just out of curiosity, what do you doodle these drawings with?  Paint Tool SAI, Photoshop, Gimp, Traditional Color and Scan (unlikely due to the color textures of your drawings)...etc.

It's been keeping me wondering for a while since your drawings looks like the character models just pulled out and taken a screen shot, but I knew that wasn't the case because of the detail levels and poses.

If I had any idea that Book 1 and 2 were so buggy I would've fixed them a long time ago. I could've sworn I fixed a lot of those a couples years ago.
