This is Dawn of War 2. You know, that game that pretends to be an RTS but is really an RTT. Well, the best feature of the game by far is the ability to turn all of your dudes into an extremely shiny/glossy pink.

Apply it to a race with a flat surface, and you get GLOWY

The AI in this game is just a mind numbingly stupid as it is in every Relic game. This time they spawn thousands of spore mines in our base, then retreat them across the map so they can huddle around their base instead. Not shown - my allies also huddling around our base, forcing me to hold the map largely on my own.

Yeah, well, my turn to post, but, starting with nostalgia, the first game I ever played, in strategy terms.  Well, not exactly real-time.

This is Deadlock, a rip-off from the Civilization series, just some aliens thrown up in it.  Had anything Civ had, diplomacy, morale, industry, teching.  The only thing I really have to complain of is the retarded AI.  When it allied to me in a match, it still attacked me!!!

Uprising 2: Lead and destroy.  Good action stuff with some buggy RTS glitched on it, but soundtrack was fun and unit designs original.  Just what modern games are missing these days...
