I doubt the murder of RCX was Lav's doing.  Despite being the Voice of Hikaru, Lav has no motive for this crime: RCX is one his most productive staff members, it'd be like shooting himself in the foot.  Except it's another person.  And he used a sword instead of a gun.

So, yeah.  I'm pretty sure Lav is innocent here.  This was clearly the work of a member of a rival organization!
