No, I'd blame your computer if it was laggy. Use media player classic, VLC, or Zoom player.

It's running in GOM, and the sound is slowed down to the point where I cannot understand you, and any laughing sounds like incredibly deep, slow demonic laughter. Ironically, it's somehow suiting. =oP

GOM...? Do you mean the GOMTV player? I highly doubt it's intended to decode this kind of video. It's highly advisable to get media player classic.

It's just the GOM Player, I think GOMTV is just their video-hosting website.
Tried it in Media Player Classic, but there's no video there, and the audio is the same as GOM. I blame your weird-ass format. =oP

I bet HKS and/or wibod is going to come in and say it works fine, because this format is very similar to what most modern anime releases use.
I think you just need the proper codecs.
Google for x264. I think it's using either AAC or mp4 audio.
Alternatively, VLC player should play it anyway.
If you get on aim I can try to help you solve it more directly.
/edit
Nevermind, x264 is the encoder. You probably don't have ffdshow.

Downloaded this:
http://www.free-codecs.com/x264_Video_C ... wnload.htm
Double-clicked on the EXE, it briefly opened a DOS window, then closed. I'm assuming it installed it? In any case, no change. =o\

Okay, well, yeah. My bad. I said x264 then I realized that was the encoder only. If you ever needed to encode videos, though, that's what you'd want to use. (I presume the DOS window is for the basic encoder function but you can use other programs to use x264... not sure how you actually 'install' it from there, though, I had StaxRip auto install it for me.)
ffdshow is pretty much one of the major decoders you want, especially if you don't already have it. Installing that should allow both MPC and GOM to play the video correctly.

I downloaded from here:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... p_id=53761
Installed. No change. Going to try a restart to see if that'll help.
EDIT:
Yeah, no change whatsoever. Is there any particular reason you chose this format instead of a more standard one?

Your ffdshow is from 2002.
I'm using this format because it's a lot smaller than my previous xvid encodes, and better quality. Most animes use this or very similar - their episodes tend to be around 150-200mb for a high-rez 22-24 minute video which is very nice.

Have you played on expert? She kills the person who startles her with one hit.

You probably can't see it because that's half of my resolution (1920x1200)

Dear Lavarinth:
VLC is teh suckz0r.
Dear IstakuMesk:
As I mentioned over AIM, even the most updated FFDshow did nothing. Gogo make it in a more universal format! =oP
