I wish I had a more "experimenting" attitude.. I didn't want to use my Rock-It Launcher for fear of breaking it.. Little did I realize when I finally used it, like 3 hours into the game, that it's amazing and you can pick up your items again. Although it only really works well in VATS.

I think I remember telling myself that when I was still playing Morrowind. I actually forgot where I left that game.

My "experiment" is the following:
- Turn on Xbox demo console at work (One of four that are left on all day for people to play during breaks and lunchtime).
- Load my savegame where the PC is at the top of Tenpenny Tower with the Megaton bomb armed.
- Aim the cursor at the 'Activate Detonator' briefcase.
- Walk away.
- Note whether people curiously press the button and are then forced to witness a huge nuclear explosion.
I've had at least 3 people so far.

What's be more entertaining is watching you load SOMEONE ELSE'S save game and explode it and save it.

I've been playing it so much, and I've been exploring the shit out of everything.
I finally made some effort to go looking for my dad. I went to
Rivet City, and the Jefferson Memorial
, but I haven't bothered to go on, because I decided I just wanted to go exploring more shit. I've got, like, almost 40 hours, I think. I don't think I've even got 50 places explored on the map, which I've been told is less than half.
I'm looking for bobbleheads :3
I've found five so far... yeah... kinda got a long way to go
Right now I'm in the Smithsonian Museum of History, looking for an image of the Lincoln Memorial.
I'm having lots of fun with it.

Damn.. You're way farther. I haven't continued looking for my dad after paying for the info, I've been doing the Survival Guide.. Just the "Those!" (ants) and the Family, and a few more subquests.. Kinda freaked out to do the Mutant quest from Bigtown, hah.

I broke the family quest pretty hilariously. I wanted all their shit so I murdered them and talked to the kid and chose the good karma one because if you tell him that you killed them he goes all emo and tries to kill you. I'm walking out of the subway and it's like YOURE NOW HATED WITH AREFUNE AND THE FAMILY LOLOLOLOL.

I'm at the part where I have to go to the Washington monument, these super mutants are pretty cool, they drop alot and aren't that hard to beat. The raiders are really annoying and those Centaur things are disgusting.

So like, I got the lunchbox with stuff in it yesterday and I am having way too much fun with this. I find myself looking at the clock at like 3-4am being like holy shit, I've sat here for like 6 hours. I loved the first 2 fallouts and I think this one is awesome too.

SM: I generally charge in with combat shotgun headshots (Like most of the time) and they'er a bit too easy to kill. In FO1 they were the tough range of 'end game' monsters, in FO3 you find them in the second questline area (DC ruins). Plus in the previous games they never had 'small guns', I think in FO: Tactics they couldn't actually equip them, though I guess if they all had big guns they would be too tough. It's a shame there aren't any for you to talk to since the 'talking heads' (Lenny and the Lou Tenant) in FO1 of them (and Marcus in FO 2) really gave them character, connecting them to 'Unity' and everything rather than just wandering big brutes of destruction. They are cool otherwise and I'm really glad they put Centaurs in, too. It would have been easy to leave them out since they're just in the games without much explanation.
Raiders: I haven't encountered a big story-line group of these yet which is disappointing, FO1 had the Khans and their base, FO2 the same. Free dog on the radio has mentioned one though. I want big gangs like in Mad Max or Water World, ones terrorising the wastes!
Anyway, just wait til the Death Claws. The whole game has been easy so far, but I just stumbled across them in a certain location in the mid-top of the map and I really struggled. I could barely take down one with energy weapons and VATs, any more and you can forget it.
