I've been playing Beta for a while now. Northrend is amazing.

Also, I've managed to do two things with Beta:

2) OWN

A lot of those people in that thread have no idea what they're talking about. You should also take a SS of our chatlog when you log on next.

In the related videos you can see the awesome new models of Sylvanas and King Varian Wrynn.

The Wrathgate cinematic is pretty darn cool.  So cool, that I kinda regret watching it now and not waiting to see it in-game.

Also, is it just me, or does the new Varian model look alot like Conan?  Might just be that whole Classic Barbarian-King style Varian's got going...

Wish they had this kind of stuff in the original game.  May have made following the story a lot more fun.

So true. I followed the story up to around level 40 then it was just too much reading while everyone else was running around ahead of me.

Sylvanas looks bitchin` and that cinematic was pretty awesome.

A lot of the stories from the 'old world' are coming to fruition in WotLK, really. The Forsaken betrayal was telegraphed very early on (the betrayal was also hinted at if you completed the quest "Nothing But the Truth" in Duskwood) and the Horde players even got to help them experiment with it until they came up with this new version that wipes out just everything (heck, when you start in the Forsaken start zone in Northrend you even help them unpack it).

I went to Icecrown Glacier with my premade 80 and it seems you get to help Tirion Fordring and the Argent Crusade build a town there (that's just speculation on my part, I only played it up to the stage where they're planning to wipe out a Scourge base and build a new base there). I also found a Horde airship called Orgrim's Hammer that's crewed by Goblins, it's kind of neat seeing this flying around.

So.. Are there any other in-game cinematics that occur in WoW?

And why does Arthas sound weird.
