ugh. Seriously, those kinds of mods are lame. Don't try to continue the story of Starcraft. Make your own storyline within the current confines of Starcraft. My basic rule of thumb is, if it tries to continue or compete with Starcraft's storyline, or if it offers information that may likely be contradicted at some point by a future Starcraft game, don't do it.
I'll do whatever I damn well please >.< And I just said I'm not gonna do storyline. Just concepts we know will exists. And who the hell cares if it contradicts? Even if there will be another Starcraft game, it won't be for years...

Dont get all 3 yr old.  Not that many people are going to play your mod due to the fact that no one but Blizzard plainly knows what these Hybrids and if the Xel'Naga are shown look like. And Blizzard has announced that they will be announcing new games, which might be StarCraft 2 in 2007.

Too bad no one will play it, eh?

It's about gameplay, not story these days. Something revolutionary needs to be done. And it can be done, people just don't look hard enough. Use your imagination.

I play more for story than gameplay nowadays, since no one can come up with anything new.

I hate it when people make non-canonical campaigns trying to continue the story.I hate it more when it's done badly. The only exception to this 'continuing the story' is the Resurgence campaign. That one was great.

This 'Galaxy of Starcraft',the zerg race would be weird. They're mindless and attack in numbers,so how is it that you can control one and end up like a hero?Cerebrates don't move, anyway,so it's either intelligence or mobility.

But the races would be probably, Zerg, Terran, Protoss and Hyprid.
1) Blizzard did even say they would to begin with. say this, Vivendi did.
2) Quote to me where it states they will NOT be making this.
3) Blizzard has confirmed over three games, aside from Burning Crusade and not including Ghost, in production.
4) Who ever mentions Xel'Naga: Read the damn manual. The renegade group of Xel'Naga remotely interested in this sector was killed by Zerg. You'll probably never see or hear of any others if others exist.
5) I hope whatever these "Hybrids" are, are the exact amount displayed in the game, and get shot and killed so we can all shut up about it.
