The way they're messing with Azeroth, the only thing they COULD do is choose a different planet or stick it in the far future.

Found out that Blizzard is letting you kill Dragon Aspects. While I never liked the concept to begin with, it also speaks as to what they really think when they're setting up their background story (sooner or later they'll make the Titans evil and have you fight them).

One per each following expansion. 18 hour battle. Because they can't just create something original.

I think they're already planning on Titanic (haha) boss fights, considering that the Uldum quest-chain hints that the Titans are planning on returning to Azeroth.

Yeah, so true. :P

I think there'll be a WC4 sometime in the far future, even though there's really nothing else to see in Azeroth (other than the Maelstrom, Kul Tiras and Gilneas, which will probably be available in a WoW expansion anyway). I bet they'll feature the Eredar homeworld or something like this, and that Sargeras, Deathwing, the Old Gods and the Titans will all eventually be bosses. I miss the Orc vs Human days. ::)

Hell, from the attention they dedicate to Azeroth, it looks like Blizzard's intention is to be remembered in the future as "the company who made WoW... and some side titles such as SC and Diablo". -.-

Also, speaking of lore trainwrecks, what are the major lore innovations brought in WoW (and WC3/TFT if you will) that displeased you guys the most?

Where did they say they'd killd the Aspects. From what I heard they only let you defeat Malygos and Alexstrasza would help.

The Malygos and Alexstraza articles on WoWwiki are both saying that Malygos gets the chop.  I feel sorry for the guy.  He goes nuts, finally starts to regain his sanity and makes a half-baked plan with what little knowledge he has of modern times and we kill him for it.  Oh, well.  Deathwing and Nozdormu (who's the secret leader of the Infinite Dragonflight) are up next.  Oh, and Ysera will probably have been driven insane by the corruptive force in the Emerald Dream, so we'll have to kill her too.  ::)

Night Elves.  An unnecessary addition to the WarCraft Universe (one race of elves is enough, thank you very much), who suddenly become the main driving force behind the Burning Legion's interest in the world.  It feels like they were just pegged on and then given a huge importance to the world's history.  Just because someone wanted a tree-loving elf race.

Garona's deletion from the timeline is pretty silly, as they kept on reducing the time between the opening of the Dark Portal and the fall of Azeroth.  Then again, it's not like she's actually appeared in a WarCraft game since WC1.  And while it's not really and issue or anything, I find it funny how "Azeroth" went from refering to a single Human Kingdom (WC1 and WC2), to being the name for a continent (WC3) and then being the offical name for the entire planet (WoW).

That is really stupid, they've said if Malygos dies then extreme measures in the balance of Azeroth would be changed, such as most likely Magic would be gone. Blizzard is just going on an excessive killing spree with powerful lore characters. (First Fenix... now everyone gets the chop) and just minor characters will most likely survive.

Whatever happens i'm sure blizz is going to use up all the W3 Characters and have to make a bunch of horrible new ones for Warcraft 4. Assumeing they decide to make a Warcraft 4.

Garona is still in the Warcraft timeline. Garona's Signet Ring is an item that drops out of Karazhan.

Oh, Garona still exists in the current timeline.  It's just that in WC1, she was 15 when she assassinated King Llane and in the current timeline she was apparently only 2 years old.

They already retconned it in The Last Guardian. She's still 15 (I think), but her other half is supposedly something from Draenor.
