Aww, I've yet to get it to freak out like that. All I get is some lag from geysers and random weird red flashes. And ultralisks hitting towers from below cliffs. And being unable to build geysers because zerglings are standing on them.

They were removed. They don't even exist in the multiplayer data files.

Geez, they must really hate the Lurker then to purge all traces of it! I wonder what their beef was...

Zerg is ground-orientated enough as is, putting the lurker in would probably mess stuff up (i think).
What?

More like it's just out of multiplayer for now, it'll definitely be in Single I'm sure.

Well, I think it would be a mistake not to include the Lurker in the Single-Player campaign because of how critical that unit became in the late game of Brood War, at least as far as the campaign is concerned.

Strangely enough what I've played in the single player campaign feels like a glorified continuation of StarCraft, just like it should, since they incorporate SC1 units early on. I believe the third or fourth map alone already includes Firebats.

Well, I know a lot can happen in 4 years, but they should, at least for nostalgia's sake, maintain every SC1 unit in the campaign. (Old news, I know) Didn't they already confirm this to be true?

No, they confirmed all SC1 and canned units would be included in the editor, and StarCraft 1 units would make appearances in the campaign. I'm not sure if that meant all or not.Frozty wrote: Well, I know a lot can happen in 4 years, but they should, at least for nostalgia's sake, maintain every SC1 unit in the campaign. We've seen the Wraith, Firebat, Medic, Goliath, Vulture, ect... they'll all be there, I'm sure. Plus a bunch of stuff that got canned (silver surfer).

A.K.A. There is no single player in the Beta. Only people that went to Blizzcon were able to try out the singleplayer mechanic of SC2.IskatuMesk wrote: Sure! I'll make some single player videos in a beta.
