Changeling ended up being pretty useful, I had a lot of fun with it at Blizzcon.

infested terrans is dumb, id be surprised if it made it past beta.

The infestor is my least favorite unit. Spammable mind control, Book of the Dead? I want my Defiler back.

It's entertaining, yeah, but.. I mean.. Lore wise.. I'm just not convinced.

Uh, it doesn't just hold it, it uses it. The Infestor has Spirit Wolf and just poops out like 4-5 marines and they shoot guys.

It's stupid, I know. One of my biggest gripes with the gameplay right now.

How else is Zerg going to counter Terran's Serpent Wards?

It would seem Blizzard really wants to keep Infested Terrans, but not in a race-specific way like SC1 so it can see more playtime. There's got to be a better way to do it. Or, maybe it's best to leave it as campaign-only? Xel'Naga are cool, too, after all, but yeah, not in multiplayer.

The Changeling strikes me as a revamp of Parasite in a mobile, controllable form. It's the Team Fortress Classic Spy in an RTS, inducing a new element of paranoia. Maybe it should be more like The Thing, grotesque and horrifying. I wish I had more of an opportunity at BlizzCon to try out its mechanics. I still have some lingering questions, such as when morphed if the enemy player can select it in a control group and give it any orders.

Those got auto-attacked so unfortunately it wasn't that useful.

Herc > They should leave infested terrans the way they were in sc1, just make them more accessible (aka the way they had infest act before when they could infest any given building to produce such units). As it is, the spell makes no sense, and has the potentially to be horribly overpowered. As if the Zerg being able to mind control Colossi wasn't ridiculous enough as it was.

@Herc:
If your changeling was disguised as my marine, I would see it in my team color, it would have a green selection circle, and it would not follow my commands. I had that happen to me @ blizzcon and asked one of he employees for helped, and she explained it all to me.

After that game I used changeling a lot more, thats why I think they're pretty cool now!

I think I missed it, it looks really generic.

Blizzard is just trolling us.

It was essentially a copy of the WoW forums with 3 boards that had SC2 icons.
