I have a feeling that the greater power from level scripting for SCII will lie with whatever they call their proprietary language, and not with the GUI triggers. Even GUI triggerers will have to move up. This isn't worldedit anymore.

They better COMPLETE the GUI this time. Wc3 still has triggers that don't even do anything, like all of the stuff associated with music lists.

They need to add more Protoss units and buildings and terran along with Zerg because if the game is playable they should add it. Or atleast also add a short story to it.

StarCraft 2 will have no unit selection limit, which should please or enrage StarCraft purists.
Excellent. I've been replaying the Starcraft campaigns lately, and the selection limit is a huge pain especially for Zerg. There appears to be enough room in the bottom center to list 24 units. It would be helpful if the game automatically resized the icons so more would fit when larger groups are selected; halving the width and height would fit 96 unit icons.

Also note there appears to be room for fifteen command buttons. Perhaps this will list all the active abilities of the units in the selected group; in Starcraft none of the abilities are shown if multiple unit types are selected.

They haven't shown many Zerg units yet; perhaps the Zerg graphics haven't been finalized yet. The Zerg were the last to be finalized in Starcraft ("Zurg" WTF).

I don't imagine they'll be releasing content as fast as we'd like. Chance are they want each drop they release to make as many waves and be milked for as much publicity as possible. Blizzard likes to take its time with its titles, so a slow trickle will keep the game in our minds over the time they work on finishing it. However long that'll be.

Judging by the way that guy's words were said in the interview, I'm going to estimate a summer or fall 2008 release. But, even then, Blizzard will probably pull a Blizzard and take until 2040.

Why do you tease me so, you blue apes...

Has anyone seen actual zerg buildings yet? I don't recall seeing any zerg stuff besides the hydra, zergling, muta, and nydus worm.

With Beta Keys for those who attend BlizzCon, I'm sure much will release soon after.

lol the BlizzCon site actually has content now
We'll be handing out plenty of Blizzard swag at BlizzCon for attendees to show off to their friends. However, we wanted to give out even more, so we'll also be providing a beta key for an upcoming Blizzard game.

I'm tempted to go for the beta key. It's not a very strong temptation though. I doubt I'll go. I just know the whole place is going to be poluted by WoW.
