Well, it's as good as I can get it, enjoy.
All of this was made by me.
Edit: Erm, the briefing is kinda fast, but you'll probably know what to do.

Now that's a behind the scenes tour: no fictional BS, just proper facts through and through.

This brings up the whole question of whether having a smaller 5-man team or a larger group work on something is better. I like the little tricks they've developed along the way, like having a generic male model instead of making each one from scratch or rendering hair/cloth effects in post-production, but I'm interested to know how tight and coordinated they can keep a project since a lot of larger companies have fell victim to overexpanding a team and having it die a slow painful death by committee.

^ I'm not too worried about that. Whatever delegating Blizzard is doing with their cinematic department is working. They continue to lead the industry in game cinematics. There's not a competing industry that can touch the quality and scope of Blizzard's cinema quality.
Great video, Falchion. Thank you for finding that.

Nah, I agree although I was thinking a bit about their game development in general since everyone's worried that the next big Blizzard game will be the one they finally screw up on, be it Diablo 3 or their unannounced MMO IP. Granted, the only time that really happened was at Blizzard North, which was semi-independent of Blizzard, so all signs point to good things for a long while.

The team's only around 150, I believe, not too bad when you consider every aspect of animation. Even things as simple as gravity simulation require their own staff.

Wow, it takes that many people that long to make something so short?
That really puts into perspective how utterly futile and pointless it is for someone like me to pursue 3d graphics.
