I am sure she'll do a great job. She has been good in what I've seen her. I like my consistency though, and as far as I know there was no reason to not get the original. Shame, ah well.

Still, that doesn't change anything in my opinion.  Until I'm proven incontrovertibly that Helfer can fill the shoe number Talken put in SC I, my disagreement remains.  Remember, appearances can be deceiving and optimism clouds judgement.  I'm sure some people agree with me.  Who they are, I don't know.

The beta will, yes.

While I don't expect Blizzard to make detailed scenarios with Nova, it can be still interesting for those that would like the Nova model for wanna-be stories regarding Starcraft : Ghost (since if they already made the Nova model, might as well include it in SC2's data).
It's been stated multiple times Nova will make an appearance in SC2, thus the reason her model is in the game. The funny part is her model is as good of a quality as the original game.

She just screams that "queen bitch of the universe" vibe and was versatile enough to play 4 different important characters on BSG.

I'm still reserving judgment on using Helfer instead of Talken, but I'm also not opposed to the choice of using Helfer in there given how good she was in BSG.  And then you have Andrea Romano taking charge of the voices.  More than anything, having the one who directed the cast of WB's animated series amongst other credentials does boost my morale alot.

Between the campaigns and the Galaxy editor, I feel much better about the game, and the possibilities of modding.

C&C 3 promised alot of good things too.  It was a good move, but not enough for the hardcore fans.  *sigh* Can't believe I supported them (EA), specially after what they're doing now.

Nothing against rant, but I'm just fearful Blizzard might be following the same path to downfall.

Art Panel part 1: Blizzcon 2009 Starcraft Art Panel p1

And part 2:
Blizzcon 2009 Starcraft Art Panel p2

Other than the lame Star Wars-ish names (Monlyth, wtf, just call it Monolith already), it's looking good so far. Installation and Ashworld used to be so boring in SC, and now it looks amazing. The physics engine is also nice.
