It's still terrible and random. It makes no sense. Explosions here, retards there, meaningless fireballs and dwarfs everywhere.

Alrighty, I actually watched it now. I kind of get the impression these cinematics exist only to laugh at the Americans who flaunt their huge budgets around with, as forementioned, zero choreography (starcraft2/d3). However, since I actually know the context of this cinematic, I know this isn't wholly the case. I also entirely think this needed dialogue of some kind. Even being familiar with the game and general idea of what's going on I do not in fact have any idea what's going on besides guys getting sent back in time.

In short, CGI masturbation.

That's because you didn't play the game, smart guy. It's not intended to make you want to play since it's literally an ENDING cinematic. You don't know the story, so you don't know the context. I know two people that played it and understood it. It's a tribute to the "old" 14 ending and the new 14 coming out, which actually looks impressive.
