Recording is being tenatively resumed for Dark Souls with no problems so far it seems. Remaining cautious, but hopeful.

Meanwhile, it turns out our furnace has been pumping carbon monoxide into the house for who knows how long, particularly my room since I am right above it with around 3-4 vents. I get to pay for the emergency repair/replacement that will entirely drain all of the money I have saved for years.

That may have attributed to some of your ill health effects, don't you think? While the fiscal impact is obviously detrimental, I would think that it's better to maintain an improved standard of living than to have some cash.

There's no real way to tell. From what I read, it has a short half-life (especially since my window is open most of the year). However, these faggots have the furnace on literally all day and night long, and there's a vent right next to my head where I sleep. It certainly isn't healthy.

My mom thinks every one wants to scam her... The bad thing is they REALLY DID!...

The landlord's wife flipped out when she got phoned by her son (he had come over to inspect the furnace himself, but he obv isn't an actual qualified inspector) and they don't want to pay aka they don't want to compensate me for fucking paying for it. They also think we're getting scammed.

I had almost no say in any of this, so I can't make a judgement on the situation. The only time I saw the guy who claimed it was leaking when I was getting some coffee. He seemed too friendly. Anyone who is friendly to me of all people isn't to be trusted. I probably looked like I was stoned or drunk or something, half-asleep, still in my panties, with an enormously large, dirty tankard for a cup.

So, if the furnace isn't leaking, and it is a scam, that doesn't really explain my chronic headaches. But it also doesn't explain why I literally sweat blood, either.

Today the drama shall deepen. It can only end hilariously!

I'm pretty sure carbon monoxide gives you severe brain damage... not just headaches...

I have no opinion in this either. Except for one thing however: If it was leaking gas, how come you didn't ever noticed it for months? And especially, if it was leaking gas.. wouldn't your igloo just blows up when you use electrical equipment?

Al-well, at least it's not as bad as the several times my mom and dad almost burns the house down... Those are some real dramas for you...

It's far too hot here for igloos. The whole igloo thing is just superstition and hollywood. We really live inside rotting, collapsing wood tents.

I did some research (on furnaces and the company), and while I can't really say if it's a scam or not, I find it incredibly stupid that granny signed herself into a contract with a salesman on a $4k furnace without at least getting a second opinion.

The landlords are all angry and they don't want to tango with them, so basically everyone is going to be my bitch for pulling them out of this hole financially.

Aw, they managed to cancel the contract/delivery. The ball is going into the landlord's court now. Will he have it inspected and, if so, what will they find? The suspense!
