Lavarinth flush with shotguns decides the best offense is a good defense and looks around the station for a kevlar armor. (3 + 2 Item Bonus - 2 Paranoia = 3 vs. DC of 8)
Flyinghat accuses Milldawg of being the Thing because he doesn't know anything else. (-1 Paranoia to Self; +3 Paranoia to Milldawg)
Thalraxal now calls Flyinghat to his frigid office and after a battery of tests, establishes he is not the Thing.. (Roll of 3 - 1vs. Roll of 2 -2)
Milldawg searches for a knife but is so stricken by fear that the knife fumbles out of his hands and under the floorboards. (Roll of 8-5=3 vs. DC of 3)
Saint_Kerrigan tries to find a suit of kevlar armor as well but gets lost in the cavernous halls of the eerie science station. (4+2-2=4 vs. DC of 8)
WedgeAntilles finally looks for a flashlight and despite being crippled by fear, easily finds one. (12 - 5 = 6 vs. DC of 2)
Tramau goes back to repairing the radio, which he says will take him another 2 days.
AA7Dragoon goes to sleep.
Mucky comes inside and falls asleep too.
An ill wind cuts through the science station but there is no sunrise to look forward to....only the fifth day of...THE THING!

48 hour time limit now that I've got the time to do the rolls quick. If you have any questions or have an idea about how to change the game, I'll all ears.
After this game's over, I'm thinking of making a script that automates the choices (like a webgame) so that a game can be played in an hour instead of a week.

Milldawg's paranoia is really high right now... Lavarinth, if anyone deserves your extra shotgun, it would be Milldawg. I'm just worried that it might be too late and he's been infected.
Anyway, time to start my indoors campaign.

I thought Milldawg requested his crack be used?
Also- DoW, could you note if something fails or not? I know it should be obvious by reading the dice rolls, but I'm left there reading the text wondering if I got something or not.
Also, I'm assuming Thing's actions are the same as last day as no note was made of it.
For the sake of trust- Offer Milldawg a Shotgun.
But we need to find out who is who.

Well if I have already used the crack, I will cordially accept Lavarinth's generous offer of a shotgun. Maybe I can even carve it into a knife!
Then of course I proceed to huddle in the corner, clutching my knees and rocking back and forth.

"Well, my research so far has shown us, that at the time of testing, Milldawg and Flyinghat both proved to be free of infection. While my test of Lavarinth proved inconclusive, it did help to further refine my methods. The attack by the Thing on Lavarinth the following night, however, showed that he was, at that time, free of infection. Tramau has proven to be quite focused on repairing the radio, and I do not wish to distract him from that work at the moment. As such... today's test subj- er, what I mean to say is that today I shall inspect Dr. Kerrigan for any signs of possible infection."
