Well you cant just say Starcraft novels are bad and Warcraft are good. For starters they are all small fish compared to famous writers. Secondly some of the Starcraft writers also wrote Warcraft stuff. When I read a book like Shadow of the Xel'naga I am not expecting anything on par with A Song of Ice and Fire of course. It is, though, the sort of novel you read through easily. I can sit down for the Wheel of Time, but I can just read most SC novels in my lunchbreak.
