He was being ironic. By not changing the topic, he was illustrating that like the dogs head, this topic is still impossibly being alive. I am going to make a thread called "Dog head kept alive topic kept alive" and post screenshots of this topic to display the incredulousness of this.

Yes, that is really my dog. And that is really me right there. And its head really is cut off. And I really put all those leaves there just to cover the bloody mess.
