They've only done this sort of thing for a new game announcement (WoW, SC: Ghost).  So it'll be interesting to see what it turns out to be.

Of course, it's also possible Blizzard just put that up there to mess with our heads.

My cousin and I have been keeping up Diablo 3's progress... Surely no doubt this must be Diablo 3. It only makes since. Release dates, Diablo3.com, staff hiring over the years.

Ha I rule, another rune was indeed added.

Diablo fans are matching those runes to Diablo runes, though I guess that ain't proof.

Your kinda slow there dude. For starters that doesn't solve anything, secondly that rune has also been tracked down to a Diablo rune, not to mention the new rune added today is also a Diablo rune.

I fear for the bastardization. SC didn't take a sequel very well. It's all fruity and cartoony and misshapen like my mother's face. Diablo is a universe that will take even less well to change like that. And diablo is my favorite blizz franchise by a long shot. :\

SC didn't take a sequel well? It is not even out. Not to mention Diablo already had a sequel, which was a world wide hit.

Relativity, my dear Maglok. I'm sure you know what would happen if Diablo 3 came out looking like sc2 does right now. Heads would roll. Towns would burn. And I would kill whoever would be responsible.

And I doubt sc2 will change from its overly happy demeanor.
