Yeah- I don't know WHY you mentioned Pirates.

Dude, Pirates was totally based off of the video game, just like Lord of the Rings and The Godfather.

lotr started with the novel the hobbit and the godfather started as a novel too and not based off of video games

Heh. I thought, you know, nobody could possibly take that seriously when I'm referring to a movie that came out in 1972. I guess I was wrong.

I kind of like the novelization better than the movie, that guy sure did a good job turning a movie into a book.
