2 screenshot updates!

He adjusted the hue of the interface PCXs to make them blue, and replaced the PCX of the background of the Protoss briefing room.. A few basic editing techniques. Just have to make sure you stay in the 256 color limit.

Make sure the image index and not RGB, otherwise it gets all messed up in brood war.

oh i kinda see what your talking about so to edit the briefing room...do you do it the same way you edit unit portraits or is it different?

ok got it but i have one problem with the unit portraits, i coverted the smk to jpg and changed the jpg files and put them back into amk format and out them in my mpq but when i load my mpg the unit portrait is all static............. any suggestions?

Cynon over at the Star Alliance should be able to help you with that, hes one of the few people that still actively helps people with sc portraits.

Use the Old Smacker Tools, not Bink or whatever it's called. I've made enough portraits in the past to know how to work them.

Also, make sure you use index 256 colors, go any bit over and your portraits will freak on colors.

ok that might be why then cause i have the bink and smack RAD video tools...............where do i get the old tools?
