All current files for Part I of New Destiny are located here:
http://hosted.filefront.com/taover
Any help with the project will be greatly appreciated.

Note:
I may upload new and improved versions of the maps and the EXE within time. Think of this version as a Beta.

Also, for the second part of my campaign, I WILL need some help. There are some things that I need done that I can't do. Such as voice recording, portrait creation, advanced triggers, and etc. If anyone would like to help, please reply here, or pm me.

What kind of voice recording are we talking about?

- Mission Briefing transmission time is far too slow. Felt like just skipping it since I was lost on the transmissions anyway. Look at StarCraft for reference on how to properly setup mission briefings.
- What's up with the unit responses? Seems they all like saying "what" and are mixed in with their originals sounds.
- Transmissions? Are those transmissions? Some are just a single line of text that I don't know who they are coming from since the game is paused and units don't blink to show "transmission from unit" or a unit portrait. Pausing is quite an old cheap way to have transmission sequences and breaks the feel of being in the game. Instead just switch control of units so they can't be moved if you're that worried. Also, look at StarCraft campaigns for reference on how to setup transmissions, no one writes completely across the screen for their text. That's laziness.
- SPELL CHECK.
- I enjoyed being able to kill anyone and no one does anything.
- What the hell.. "In memory of those who died for Mother Russia!" ... Uh, ok. Red blatant text in the middle of the screen appearing for no reason whatsoever every second and I have no idea from who or why that is appearing.
- Nice, random hero in the completely right of the map that I'm supposed to talk to. How is it no one else noticed him there?
- Ok, now I don't know what to do and the only way to find out is to check my Mission Objectives. How about an update on mission objectives on screen?
- Funny part is, out of boredom I already destroyed half these supply depots before it was an objective, how about you make them invincible so they aren't destroyed before? In fact, how about you make everyone either invincinble or have them retaliate if attacked. These guys are so strong that if I can kill a Marine in a split second while another Marine just trots by.
- Well, I must be stupid cause I destroyed all supply depots but nothing's happening...
- Well, thought maybe destroying those bunkers packed with Ghosts that don't attack might do something, but nope. Now Orange has no buildings but nothing's happening.
- Wow, I walk to the most South-Eastern part of the map, and some Firebat is telling me to talk to the captain up North, WHILE I get keep getting a bunch of red text about mother Russia spamming the screen.
- Oh wait, captain? Then this tank must by a spy!
- Hmmm.. My objectives are now Find the captain.. Ok. Found, next? .. NEXT?
- *Kills random blue civilian for no reason other than he was hostile*
- *Kills other guy that told me to find Captain* F U!
- *Kills Random Firebats up on cliffs*
- You know what.. Screw it. *Kills one hero* ... *Game continues* .. *Kills another hero* ... *Game continues* ... *Kill another hero* ... *Game ends now that I killed the female Ghost* ... Oh, well you should of said, don't kill the female Ghost.

Overall.. Learn to test your map. I'm not going to bother with the rest of them. I hope you have a lot more maps planned or there is a lot more to this map that I missed, because if it's less than 5 maps, makes it seem like you can beat this in 15 minutes completely.

Thanks for the tips. I've actually been redoing all the maps and working out the bugs. Thats why I said earlier that they were all beta versions. But your comments should really help out, thanks. However, I could have sworn I put a transmission in after you found the captain. I'm just gonna redo the entire map, new triggers, more of them, new briefings, I'll make it all better.

As for the voice recording, I don't need anything for the first part, however the second part of my campaign I'll need new unit responses. I'm hoping I can get people willing enough to do full transmissions for mission briefings and stuff too.

For voice recording Taover, you might want to instead wait till you finish the campaign, because if you have to change the transmissions during maps, and you already have voice transmissions then its going to mess up.
But like Lav said test it first then when YOU think its ready, have other people test it.

Voice acting is last. People hate recording their voices for a dead project.

Thats what im gonna do, but thanks for the tip.

Edit:I also want to say that I will need just one person to help out with mapping. Mostly real detailed work, triggers, stuff like that. So if anyone is interested please reply or pm me. I know I've said it before, but I'm just saying it again. Thanks.

Its okay, Lavarinth is just giving you some ways to make a better map, also one last piece of advice in your transmissions like Lavarinth posted before, just make it detailed like if its an objective transmission make it detailed dont just say "Destroy the zerg base... leave no one alive!" also if the maps take longer to make (not by taking a break wise but when you work on it) it, by working longer and harder you can make a better map, make test maps if you wish to try new triggers, if they're good use them, if you dont need them dont use them.

Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it. Really, I mean it. Thank you.

Edit: Ok, I want to get shared vision for a neutral player, I put him in the same force as the human player. I can't however get shared vision when I test the map. I don't know what to do.

First can you tell me what editor, do you use the normal StarCraft editor, or X-tra Editor, or SCMDraft.
The trigger should be under the player (like if your player is player 2) and it should be like Turn ON Shared Vision for Player 5 (that was an example, the player should be the neutral player)

Thats just what I think from reading your reply.
