Maybe they sold the meat and wore the furs.  Maybe they ate the fur and sold the meat.  Maybe they were confused.  Maybe they were drunk.  Or maybe they were just people who didn't make any sense.  Maybe they chopped off their ears and then allowed the animals to eat them in retribution.

They still have nothing yet on the thieves thus far, but they're still continuing the search. There's also concern for the Tiger, who likely hasn't gotten water in over 72 hours since he and the camels got stolen. And he was going to feature in the filming of a movie called "Life of Pi".

On the other hand...

The theft of the tiger and camels has received international media attention on news websites around the world including India, Africa, New Zealand and from Britain’s BBC.

The theft is getting a lot of attention, and not just from guys like us.


I get the feeling that, if the animals are eventually found and returned, they're going to be placing GPS stuff on their animals in case this happens again.

Don't they tag like dogs with GPS in the US now?  I figure a tiger would merit such similar treatment

They just never had a case like this happening before. That's probably why.

Camels Shawn and Todd, and Jonas the tiger, were located late Monday night on a rural road near Drummondville, Que., not far from where they went missing.

A local resident contacted authorities after spotting an abandoned truck trailer on Doyon Road in Saint-Edmond-de-Grantham, said Sgt. Richard Gagné, of the Quebec provincial police.

When police checked the trailer all three animals were "alive and well," Gagné said.
