I have not once crashed, an I have an i7 processor which I heard the game does not 100% support yet.

Only patch 9+ has gave me problems. I also have major sound distortion issues in patch 9+ now as well. They broke something.

I also use an i7 and until patch 9 the game has performed admirably well.

Iksatu, you forget, I got into the beta the same day Patch 9 came out. :P

Who knows. The game may not support my Xonar D2 very well or at all. Though how they managed to break sound of all things in patch 9 I do not know.

Command and Conquer 4 Beta, anyone?

I didn't dare play it, not even in Beta. I just heard so many horrible things. The soundtrack was phenomenal, though. :D

You didn't miss out. The Beta crashed almost every time I ran it for longer than 30-45 minutes. Plus I learned how fucked up EA's "innovation" is. It basically convinced me not to waste money to buy the game.

Blizzard, do yourself a favor and don't bring in any more C&C guys. One of the Faces of RTS has been fucked up enough as it is.

Too late, they brought in one of the worst they could of - and gave him project lead.

Nag nag whine whine. :P C&C4 was just pushed so hard so it would release before SC2, they wouldn't have stand a chance otherwise.

Yeah its sure whining that having anything like a targetted spell that works on your units is even more of a pain in the ass to use now because you can't even click on units in a group you have selected or control groups.

They also have no plans of re-introducing it.

I can't even comprehend the reasoning they give for most of these because of how mindless they are. "We want you to look at your base more!"

They didn't stand a chance back in C&C classic and red alert they won't stand a chance now. The whole series is garbage. As far as I'm concerned sc2 isn't much better right now. Browder was the worst thing to happen to the game next to Brett Wood.
