I can't believe a whole decade has passed in the new Millennium.  I was 15 when we hit 2000!  Where has the time gone?

The future doesn't look so spectacular...

This year has already started out great for me.  2010 is my year to shine.

Okay, so my dad asked me an interesting question recently: If the 1970s were called the 70s, 1980s the 80s, and 1990s the 90s, what do we call the 2000s? The 00s (zeroes, O's, or whatever you want to call that) just doesn't roll off the tongue. Thoughts?

We call it the downfall of humanity, 2010's will be the spitting on the corpse, 2020's will be pissing on the ashes, and 2030's will be smoking up the fumes.

I believe Gemini made a good statement about the 2000's. Pretty sure "201*" will just be called 20-10's.
