You mentioned Zerg 'heads of power.' I, for one, use Cerebrates and sentient super-strains (Devouring One, Hunter Killer etc.). For one campaign, I used a Terran/Zerg hybrid. You can get more creative if you think of all the possibilities of a possible sentient Zerg unit.

If you happen to need any help with story/triggers/terrain, let me know. I'm experienced in all of those fields.

I have totally re-done the idea for the Protoss campaign, so I can now give you a little preview of what is to come for the Protoss, I am still working on Zerg and I've got Terran almost all wrapped up in a nutshell.

Protoss: Zeratul and a small band of Protoss warriors have left the safety of Shakuras in the hands of Artanis. Zeratul and his forces search the Koprulu Sector in search of the Kal' Taras artifacts, ancient treasures said to contain the souls of the Xel' Naga, the creators of the Zerg and Protoss. With the Xel' Naga's guidance and wisdom, the Protoss will have a good chance at defeating the Queen of Blades, and her demented minions known as the Zerg...

I have decided to make a small demo for you all to see, it will be playable and it will be a prelude to the events of the campaign, but before I begin work on it, you must vote which race you want to play as.

A: Protoss - Zeratul's Honor Gaurd

B: Terran - 365th Hellblazer Regiment

C: Zerg - Zerg Cerebrate(name to be revealed)

Each race will have a different storyline for the demo, which one you will play as is up to you.

I'd like to see the protoss one. You don't get to see Zeratul doing his pre-SC2 thing very often. Most stuff is focused on the other characters and they are doing a bunch of stuff that, from what I've read, doesn't lead much into SC2. Tie-ins are nice. 

1 vote for Protoss - The tie-ins will be monumental in the actual campaign, but I don't want to be a party-pooper, so that's why I can't give you much details. It will all tie in together in the very end.

Zerg. I love Zerg.

1 for Protoss, 1 for Zerg. None for Terran .

I'd be more interested on the Terran one. Just to tie the scores. xD

BTW: I have so more details for you on the demo for my campaign. You will play as the Protoss, and it will take place almost immediately before the Protoss chapter in the campaign. It will reveal of what Zeratul is to do as he returns to Shakuras to discuss his plan with Artanis, the leader of the Protoss on Shakuras. With the help of the newly-promoted Judicator(you) who fought alongside Zeratul and Artanis in the the Brood War, and experienced the courageous acts of Tassadar, the Protoss may yet have a chance to defeat the zerg, bring the terrans to peace, and restore balance and stability to the Koprulu sector...
