You should make a few special categories.  Like best map and newest concept and different awards like that that wont have any effect on scoring but would be interesting.

Some examples-

Best Topography: [name of map here]
Best Triggers: [name of map here]
Funniest Map: [name of map here]
Worst Overall Map: [name of map here]
Best Overall Map: [name of map here]
Worst triggers: [name of map here]
Worst character: [name of map here]
ect.

There is no end to the categories you can have but I think it would be fun, help encourage some people who didn't win, and help us avoid certain maps :).  Hopefully we're all mature enough here not to take offence if you earn a worst award.

I can't see the point of awarding bad mapping skills. Giving a worst award to someone is like telling him 'hey, your map/campaign was the worst of the contest. but no matter, you're still being rewarded :)'. We must encourage and help people to improve their mapping skills, and for that awards are not necessary; it's not a matter of being mature or not. Just feedback and telling people how to improve.

Just my opinion. :D

Yes so can I, that would be my final mission with 1 player.  :)  Good luck.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing who the best "Jack" character is, considering there's no less than three campaigns that have a character named "Jack" (Alexei Stukov almost every time) with a voice role and significant importance to the campaign's plot.  Not only are there three Jack characters, but there are two Jack boss fights!
Both those ideas sound fun, especially the best "Jack" chraracter one. Was one of the Jack boss fights mine? My Jack, Jack Kael, was very significant to the plot, but he had no voice role.

Lulz, I think I'll stay away from the forums during that contest, thank you.  ;D

So I completed the testing on Tipereth's Echoes campaign.

However, any of my future testing logs won't be posted until Oracle releases his campaign for the contest mostly to minimize the potential advantage of checking another contestant's log list and then fixing problems that he wouldn't otherwise do before releasing it.

If I finish your testing but still don't post it on the forums, it will be PM'ed to you for at least knowing your results.

For now, ill take a break from testing. Probably one to three days of time.

Sorry that I couldn't post more at the moment but now I am back.

Since Oracle's campaign is still not released, I will still not publicly post my testing logs.

So far, I completed the testing of thebrowncloud's Hands of Power and Jim_Raynor's Reuniting campaigns. Thus I will PM their testing logs.

Campaign currently under testing by me is Laconius' Vile Egression.

Thus so far, I completed in total :

Desler's Sweet Science
Tipereth's Echoes
thebrowncloud's Hands of Power
Jim_Raynor's Reuniting

Er, the deadline is long past. I don't think it really matters if Oracle sees the reviews or not.

Yeah wouldn't his penalty be too much by now?

While Oracle currently have a week of lateness penalty or so, I prefer to wait a full two weeks to ensure that his professionalism score will be considered 0/10 no matter what (even coming from Lavarinth). Thus, his score would be lowered enough that even in the best case scenario revealing the logs won't help him enough in favor of winning 3rd place somehow.

Glad you are still reviewing even if you don't post the logs.  I was going to suggest that anyway.  It's too bad about Oracle, although I'm impressed to see that the rules of the contest are not exempting anyone, even respected authors.
