I get that as well. I don't understand the hayakawa part, though.

Its just the server name I think.

That was the original error I would receive.

checked samods and got the reported attack site warning. This happened a year ago to snes9x.com because the news page on the site had gotten hacked with a browser exploit.

samods must have gotten hacked recently.
Edit: they did, a site by the name of x6i.ru is to blame (DO NOT VISIT SAID SITE)

Google Chrome is starting to give me warnings about CC too.

Was it when you viewed one of Ricky's posts?  He has his forum avatar on here linked to the one on Samods, so it gives the warning when it tries to access it.

After some more testing, I think I'm fairly sure it is just Ricky's avatar image. (look at the URL on it, btw)  It is probably just flagging it because it comes from the Samods forum.

Either way, it's still a good time to make security updates.

Magic has stated it is safe to, ignore this for now.

Edit: now I'm on my G1 as my whole computer is down giving me an unusable error of a blue screen. Oh now I'm just furious at this "okay to visit" post. Time to introduce delays galore.

What?  I've been there twice in the past week and both Ad Aware and Spybot saild zilch.

The only thing that got triggered was a dialogue to download a .pdf which anyone can just say no to (or End Task on the Adobe preloader).

Which program exactly is reporting malware?

What browser and OS?  Just wondering, because I don't seem to have picked up anything from when I last visited the site.  It was a while ago, though, so I suppose it could also have to do with the timing.  I mostly stopped going to the forum when it first gave the warning in Chrome.  When I did go to it, I did so in a browser with JavaScript and Java disabled; mostly just to see if the site was fixed yet.
