What a coincidence this is that day! I've decided to start working on this campaign again. I'm going to finish all triggers/terrain/storyline before chasing voice actors and people to do iscript for me. Who wants to take bets that I can finish this beat before SC2 beta comes out?

Some updates:

Maps 1-4 are about 96% done combined, they are all very playable and generally just being hindered by a few minor bugs/adjustments/map2hasnomusic/spelling mistakes.

Map 5 is about 50%ish done, probably more because it already has all the terrain done and many triggers done. That one should be finishable in a day or 2.

Map 6 and 7 are mainly terrain and unit placement and a bit of triggers or none. They will be adjusted accordingly and maybe moved around in the story.

I would assume 1-3 more maps after 7; if theres more then 8 then I will have to change the campaign screen from using the protoss campaign to the zerg campaign (I am replacing all the brood war campaigns for that race's campaign with my own, and each has it's limitations). I suppose I'll post a screenshot or 2 if you guys want, just request and I'll make em.

Can you put your own maps into the race campaigns if you have less maps than what Blizzard had?

Yeah, you just need to make the unused chapter buttons blank so people won't usually click on them.

I am currently replaying through my favorite series of campaigns: vision of the future to get some inspiration for my campaign. Maps 1-4 of my campaign are pretty much complete minus a few small bugs and dialogue change (the sc2 website updates keeps forcing me to change my plans!). Map 6 has stalled me since its a large 256x256 devastated aiur map and I am unsure how I want it to look, but I know how I want it to play out. Map 5 is a mess because I'm trying to fit it into the storyline but its giving me trouble due to some changed storyline. Map 7 is terrained and has unit placement but doesnt have many triggers yet. I did terrain/layout map 8 but I may scrap it or use it for some type of bonus mission.

The Oracle's right here.  Not going to finish 'Last Cerebrate' though.  Too much hostility got thrown around against that poor pet project. 

Oracle's still very focused on LotC though (for SC2 that is)

But Raynor's right there, and he's obviously talking to people.  Why would it just be a display message? O_o  Eh, whatever.

Also, I don't think any protoss would ever say, "By the way..."  It doesn't sound very protoss-like.

This works fine, it's a DA as well, just makes it worse to sound anything like "By the way" or "Also", just get straight to the point.

Don't worry Raynor's portrait shows up, you prob just got it right after his portrait disappeared or didn't appear yet or something. Changing the DA's dialogue is prob a good idea, I'll be doing little fix ups like that as the most of the maps are finished and I go through em a few more times and look for ways to polish them up.
