Bull, sir.
I'd be willing to prove it in a llittle 1v1 with patch 1.11 =D, I'm sure the strategy is just as cheap. Or maybe it was because no one expected it at the time, who knows. I kinda like the idea of reliving the days I enjoyed WC3 the most.

Its ok, we haven't had a WoW topic in so long.

Actually, I'm relieved to see this site has endured so much when a lot of other sites have died off. The credit definitely goes to Lavarinth, the remaining regulars, and those who still continue to write campaigns for SC. Cookies and pie for everyone.
I definitely envy those who can still write campaigns for SC, and deal with the outdated triggers and such. I wish I had the patience to go back and deal with all the limits. I kind of dream of making a SC original campaigns.
As for getting people readdicted, I doubt anyone who played WoW since launch (if there are any left) will be thrilled with WoW once WotLK's gimmicks get old.
and yeah, Lavarinth is right, this only rewards you if it's a completely new account with a 30 day subscription.

Don't worry they will add some bullshit deal for this too.

Why do all your links always lead to FTPs?

WoW alone costs $20, and so does the expansion alone.
As for leveling, so what? It's already dirt easy to level with 200% experience already implemented (250% if you're grouped), so 300% bonus is meaningless. I've already leveled an alt from 1 to 70 when Blizzard cut the XP requirement for lv. 20-60 (granted it took me probably 3 months, but I wasn't even trying) and you would have to be asleep at the wheel to NOT gain levels.
The only people that are really complaining about this are the ones that want the stupid Zhevra Mount. Seriously? I mean, hell, I always wanted the Raven God mount, and it won't kill me to not have it.

He's clicking on Insert FTP Link instead of Insert Hyperlink like he should.

I think the only reason people are complaining is that they've recruited people into WoW but won't be rewarded retroactively. Getting a free level on one of your alts for every 2 levels your friend gets is pretty nifty.

I just think its kind of unfair. Your getting free bonuses for giving blizz more money. Next there going to let you buy gold as long as its from them.

Just leveling in WoW is fucking gay. Starting a new character sucks balls. Fast leveling is a great idea because all of the good content is at the end.

I enjoy the fun of leveling. Blizz already got rid of alot of the cool elite bosses. Because you know its not the end that matters. Its the journey there.

I have never played a fun MMO. I hate having to grind for levels and loot. How about a fucking game where you can play a dungeon solo and still level?
Why didn't blizz just make the dungeons scale based on the number of players?

Seriously.
WarHammer Online is trying to make that sort of game, by the way. I'm in the beta but not that far ahead. Lot of snazzy community quests though.

That sounds fun, but can you do the community quests alone?

Doesn't make sense to. You can, easily. But it's basically an automatic quest, you don't accept it.. You just do it by entering a specific area in a zone. They reset around every 10 minutes and repeat the "short story."

Tabula Rasa, also levelling to 70 in under a week played isn't that hard now and its going to get easier 60-70 after WotLK.
