Bios and map information are as much importance to them as unit info.. It's nothing no one already knows.

Yeah, but it doesn't affect gameplay, only lore. And lore means nothing in melee games vs other players.

Neither does releasing lore information on the baneling, which you just stated was the last biggest update.

You're right. They just haven't really been updating as much as they used to. I mean they have Diablo III and WotLK coming, but that's all separate teams.

kind of prefer it that way, as I'm really itching for info, and I'm always checking for new stuff on the site. But the thing is, the less I know, the more of a wow factor I get when play the game for the first time.

Kind of like the saying "hunger is the best spice" besides, it'll keep me from getting a bad first impression from all the assholes who think SC sucks, or from me disliking some gimmicky feature that in reality doesn't negatively affect gameplay at all. Or worse, if I like some concepts that don't make it to release, I'll spend the whole time going, "man it'd be really badass to have so-and-so right now!"

Yeah, I kind of feel that way to. I was just trying to say that without many updates, it's possible a big announcement is coming.

Well they promised us a good look at something that will revolutionize the single player experience at the end of the year.

Also I like to know a lot in advance in this case, makes it easier to plan 'the project.'

No they didn't.

They promised a Wrath of the Lich King 2008 release. Starcraft 2 they explicitely said 'not 2008', but they did promise a single player sneak peak at the end of the year.

The guy said it at the korean invitational.  He said that they were aiming for a 2008 release

The only promise we get is for a bug free game.  And then they went and broke that one too.
