As an aside: if either Lavarinth or High_Zealot is the killer, then they auto-win tomorrow since there's no way they can be defeated.

Re: MAFIA: Death Island
My only conclusion so far is Alevice's sudden burst to kill Jim_Raynor day one when it wasn't necessary to do at all.
EDIT: Sorry, I somehow missed Alevice's last post, which is a good point that's brought up..

Re: MAFIA: Death Island
I still think Lav needs to lose one of his lives. That could screw him over if he's not the killer but his extra live could end us if he was the killer. Currently, I think we're all pretty suspicious. Also, if I'm the killer, I wouldn't auto-win since I could still be lynched by two quick votes for me before I can do anything.

Re: MAFIA: Death Island
Actually, if you are the killer, and kill any of us tomorrow, we would end in a tie during voting sessions (say you kill thal, it would be me and lav vs your two votes), so you indirectly win already. If lav is the killer, and e dont lynch him today, he can kill one of us during the night, and still survive a lynch tomorrow, thus killing another player, leaving just a 1v1 he cant fail to win.
This places us into pretty much strong players (HZ and Lav) and weak players (Thal and me). If the killer is a strong player, the town loses next day; if the killer is a weak player, there is still tomorrow to settle up things.
Because of it, strong players are the current suspicious fuckers, and I presume we need to build up a fail proof strategy that helps us either determine who the killer is today, or manage to survive another one. I think we need to protect the weak players today for starters, and somehow gamble between Lav and HZ.
Personally, I would like to hear first of all whom the strong players will vote against. This might give us a clue.

I would vote for lav mainly to prevent a sure lose tomorrow.Milldawg wrote:If there is a tie between two or more players, and the Judge is not alive, whichever player received the tying vote first will be lynched.

You might be fast enough to ensure your vote. It's a bit too risky to be honest, and I would prefer to play safe.

Re: MAFIA: Death Island
High_Zealot, if you were committed, you would of voted for me already. Instead, you're trying to gain support so you don't seem too suspicious when you cast the first vote. Classic mafia tactic.
So, with that said, I can agree no less with Alevice's comment that it's either going to be High_Zealot or myself since we are both high profile targets. So, I wont try to sway anyone's opinion before voting and state now that I'll vote for High_Zealot. Now you can cast your vote without appearing so guilty.

In the choice between Lavarinth and High_Zealot, I have to say that I trust Lavarinth more.
Ergo, I vote to lynch High_Zealot.

Well then, I vote lynch lav and lynch lav. If I am lynched or killed tonight, I request a magma related death.

Re: MAFIA: Death Island
Wait a second, if it's just lavarinth, thalraxal, me and alevice, when one of us dies and another dies at night, the killer wins? Did I miscalculate something?

Such a burden! OH MAN.
WHAT TO DO? WHAT TO DO? WHAT TO DO? LYNCH HIGH_ZEALOT OF COURSE
At this point he is pretty much claiming an unawareness not fit at this point.

Re: MAFIA: Death Island
I have no guilt though my inexperience does show quite a bit. So tell me, with me dead and someone else dead overnight, did the killer win assuming I'm not the killer.
